Don M Lindsey 1932 ~ 2011
Our loving husband and Father Don Lindsey passed away Aug. 11, 2011 surrounded by his loved ones following surgery. Don was born Feb. 26, 1932. He was a Korean War Vet, avid skier, and outdoors man. He worked in the trucking business for Hafers Inc for 51 years managing the parts department. Don grew up in Salt Lake City graduating from West High School, and resided in Sandy for the last 38 years. He is survived by his loving wife Leo of 43 years. His children LeAnn Bastion (Mark), Woods Cross; Bonnie Lindsey, SLC, Vickie DeNovellis, (Chuck) West Jordan, Dell Williams, (Kelli) Ogden Ut; Cheryl Chidester (Frank), Etna, Wyo.. Don was blessed by 16 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, and his dog Addy... He is also survived by his father, Horace, 101 years of age of Sandy, and siblings Sharon Hart, Las Vegas; David, San Francisco, CA; Joe, Alpine, Ut. His mother May Busk Lindsey preceded him in death. He has many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 So., where a viewing will be held Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
