DAVIS 13, VIEWMONT 0: Davis' Logan Thomas (100 yards) and Mark Christiansen (94 yards) provided just enough offense for the Darts to squeak by Viewmont. Chance Parker nailed two first-quarter field goals, while Troy Hinds and Rossiter Potter each logged two sacks to lead a stout Davis defense.

JORDAN 35, LAYTON 14: Freshman Austin Kafentzis completed 23-of-42 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns. Brothers Mason and Baron Gajkowski added two touchdowns each in the victory. Willie Uasilaa of Layton had two rushing touchdowns in the loss.

OLYMPUS 21, NORTHRIDGE 14: Scott Porter accounted for three scores for Olympus, two through the air and one on the ground. He went 15-for-23 for 187 yards in his second stellar performance this season. Calvin Escobedo had four catches for 101 yards and a score in the win. Karson Casteel connected with Alex Trotter on a 30-yard score with 23 seconds left to bring Northridge within a touchdown, but their onside kick attempt failed.

SYRACUSE 13, SKYLINE 7: In a game dominated on the defensive side of the ball, Syracuse quarterback Trevor Davis went 8-for-13 through the air for 152 yards and two scores, including a 75-yard strike to Diante Mitchell for game-winner. Right before the long bomb, Skyline had scored on a one-yard plunge early in the fourth quarter to tie things up at seven.

HILLCREST 35, TAYLORSVILLE 7: Hillcrest jumped out on Taylorsville early then coasted to its first win of the season. The Huskies didn't allow a touchdown until the fourth quarter.

KEARNS 31, COPPER HILLS 0: James Felila ran for 62 yards and three scores to help Kearns past Copper HIlls. Adrian Mejia added 70 yards running. Kearns' defense held the Grizzlies to only 103 yards of total offense. Brock Whetman was a perfect 4-for-4 on PATs and drilled a 43-yard field goal.

ROY 14, WEBER 12: Jake Trujillo scored twice in the second quarter (once on a run and another on a TD reception) to break the game open for Roy. Weber scored twice but failed to convert either PAT in the fourth quarter.

LOGAN 32, COTTONWOOD 25: Logan jumped out to an early lead after Cottonwood elected to gamble on fourth down twice. Then, behind quarterback DJ Nelson - who ran for 190 yards and threw for 175 more - the Grizzlies were able to hold off a valiant comeback attempt to pull off the huge win. Logan made an extremely gutsy call late in the final quarter. With the ball on its own 43-yard line, the Grizzlies went for it on 4th-and-2 to seal the win in dramatic fashion.

FREMONT 20, BRIGHTON 15: Jordan Preator rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown as the Silver Wolves held off Brighton for the nonregion victory. In a low-scoring game through the first three quarters, both teams scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

CARBON 17, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 7: Carbon's defense was stalwart, stopping numerous red zone opportunities. Tanner Gagnon recovered a blocked punt for a ten-yard touchdown and added a field goal and extra point in the victory.

LONE PEAK 35, MOUNTAIN CREST 14: Lone Peak found a balance of great offense and defense in the first half. Chase Hansen showed off his arm with generous passes to Connor Humphrey, Micah Hannemann and Zac Saunders.

AMERICAN FORK 31, TIMPANOGOS 13: The Cavemen got the ground attack working against the T-Wolves as they rushed for four TDs, including two from Tyler Belliston from short range and a 64-yard scamper from Johnny Morris. Bubba Tausinga and Silas Olsen led the defense with nine tackles each and Dallin Lindsay had a key interception. American Forks offense ran for 355 yards led by Tyler Belliston who rushed for 164 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns.

BOX ELDER 45, CLEARFIELD 21: Britton Gunter rushed for three touchdowns and 156 yards on seven carries. Gunter also was 2-for-7 passing with 79 yards and a TD. Breckin Gunter led Box Elder defensively with six tackles and one forced fumble in the Bees' victory on the road.

BOUNTIFUL 26, MOUNTAIN VIEW 9: Bountiful scored two defensive TDs (one on a blocked kick and another on a 73-yard interception return by Dallin Butters) to break the game open in the second quarter. Garrett Jones found paydirt on runs of 20 and 30 yards for the Braves.

TIMPVIEW 40, WESTLAKE 9: Marshall Nelson went 5-for-13 passing with two touchdowns, and Jake Lloyd went 6-for-8 passing with 127 yards and an interception in the Timpview victory. Lloyd also netted 64 yards rushing for the home team.

GRANGER 21, MURRAY 7: Granger held Murray to only one offensive first down and negative rushing yards in the first half. Asi Vakalahi rushed for 114 yards on 22 carries in the win. The Lancers overcame six personal fouls (85 yards) in the victory. Jordan Hernandez opened the scoring with a 1-yard run the connected with Zach Buchanan on a 44-yard touchdown.

PROVO 31, CYPRUS 28: Two fourth-quarter scores by Cyprus weren't enough as Provo finished off the Pirates by a narrow margin.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 43, LEHI 40: Maple Mountain's James Baird kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime as the Golden Eagles capped a stunning rally after falling behind 40-20 early in the fourth quarter. Trevor Topham rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown to lead Maple Mountain's offensive attack. Lehi running back Folo Ulikivaiola rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.

HIGHLAND 41, CEDAR 7: Highland's Justin Weaver stunned the crowd by recovering a fumble then returning it 82 yards for the opening score. Anthony Smithson accounted for three scores (two on the ground and one passing) as the Rams rolled for the second straight week.

CANYON VIEW 22, RICHFIELD 20: Nathaniel Hansen dominated the defensive side of the ball for Canyon View, recording 12 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles in the narrow win. Dakota Marshall put the ball on the ground for 91 yards on 15 carries, while Kameron King went 2-for-6 passing for 53 yards and also had 11 carries for 73 yards.

HURRICANE 48, WEST JORDAN 36: Hurricane dominated the game defensively, forcing four fumbles and intercepting the ball three times in the lopsided win at home. Brian Scott rushed 24 times for 182 yards and four touchdowns.

STANSBURY 41, PARK CITY 7: Stansbury exploded for 41 points, including four rushing touchdowns by Chase Christiansen, to get the easy win over Park City.

NORTH SANPETE 12, UNION 2: In a game riddled with penalties and turnovers, North Sanpete took an early 12-point lead to the final whistle behind quarterback Brady Wheeler.

JUAN DIEGO 49, MANTI 17: Brock Garn showed up to play, connecting for a 47-yard touchdown pass to Cayden Sanchez and running in two touchdowns of his own.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 45, OGDEN 10: Judge Memorial's Christian Weidle rushed 155 yards on 9 carries and scored two touchdowns in the easy victory. Teammate Miles Ellis added two rushing touchdowns. The Bulldogs' defense kept Ogden out of the end zone until the fourth quarter.

BEAR RIVER 43, PRESTON, IDAHO 35: Wes Fukui rushed for 183 yards on the night, and Bear River stayed fairly even with Preston all night to pick up a much needed win at home. Dyllon Mercado and Tanner Porter both returned interceptions for touchdowns for the Bears.

PAYSON 39, SALEM HILLS 38: Payson pulled out a narrow win over Salem Hills in a game that was tight from wire-to-wire.

SPANISH FORK 35, SPRINGVILLE 7: Spanish Fork stole the momentum right before halftime, stopping Springville on four straight plays at the goal line with a minute left. It then marched 99 yards for a touchdown (a 51-yard pass from Hayden Nielsen to Luigy Paulino) just before the break. Springville's standout quarterback, Steve Bate, suffered a concussion and didn't play in the second half. Nielson threw for three scores, while Andy Perkins hauled in the first touchdown of the game then sealed it with a 49-yard interception return for a TD.

SAN JUAN 45, KIRTLAND, N.M. 7: Logan Meyer scored twice in the opening quarter to give San Juan an early lead, then the Broncos rolled from there. Cole Einerson hauled in a touchdown and ran for another, while Barkley Christensen threw for a touchdown and ran for one more.

NORTH SEVIER 21, SOUTH SEVIER 14: Trent Hampton scored on a four-yard pass from Joey Edwards with just over a minute left to give North Sevier the win. Edwards went 18-for-32 for 205 passing yards and two TDs. Garrett Johnson opened the scoring with a 45-yard touchdown run for South Sevier.

BEAVER 24, GUNNISON 13: Beaver's Jeremy Brown, Ty Yardley, Jesse McMullin and Boedi Lofland teamed up for 279 yards and three touchdowns on 48 carries to lead the Beavers to the impressive victory.

EMERY 30, UINTAH 10: Jesse Winn scored two touchdowns to help Emery power through Uintah. The Spartan defense also came up big as they recorded four interceptions and recovered two fumbles.

DELTA 34, MILLARD 28: In a game that featured 10 rushing touchdowns (including runs of 80, 78 and 51 yards) Delta outlasted Millard in front of a packed house. Kaydon Hughes and Colin Christensen led the Rabbits' attack, while Jesse Rhodes scored three times for the Eagles in the loss.

WHITE PINE, NEV. 40, MILFORD 0: White Pine put 40 points on the board, while holding Milford scoreless. Milford lost over 100 yards in penalties in the loss.

MONTICELLO 34, GRAND 13: After an even first quarter, Monticello scored the game's final 19 points to seal the win over Grand.

WOODS CROSS 26, BONNEVILLE 24: Skyler Farnes threw three TD passes to three different receivers (Sean Barton, Alton Brown and Filipo Mokofisi) as Woods Cross squeaked past Bonneville. Beck Nelson scored twice for Bonneville, but their comeback fell just short. Farnes finished with 180 yards passing and 89 yards rushing, while Barton had 16 tackles to go along with a fumble recovery, an interception and his TD reception.

WEST 35, TOOELE 0: West dominated the second and third quarters to blank Tooele. Eric Takenaka scored on two 11-yard runs, while Taurus Dickerson and Alex Espinosa also found the end zone in the win.

PINE VIEW 27, DESERT PINES, NEV. 16: Pine View went to Nevada and pulled out the win over Desert Pines.

DUCHESNE 35, NORTH SUMMIT 6: Duchesne displayed excellent defensive effort to defeat the Braves. Shiaba Allen registered two rushing touchdowns in the victory, while teammates Braiden Despain, Macoy Young, and Kaden Moon added one touchdown apiece.

MORGAN 37, SOUTH SUMMIT 31: Lantzen Toomer aided Morgan in an overtime nail-biter, returning an 80-yard kick and scoring a rushing touchdown. Teammate Bridger Anderson rushed in two touchdowns as well, sealing the victory. Porter Santos of South Summit put forth a valiant effort, making it to the end zone twice in the loss.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. 30, SNOW CANYON 25: Brayden Linde threw for two scores to two different receivers, while Brandon McFarland added a touchdown run as Snow Canyon's rally fell just short against Las Vegas.

KANAB 28, PAROWAN 0: Kanab rushed for more that 300 yards, led by Josh Urianza (113 yards) and Kyle Livingston (109 yards), in the lopsided win. Brandon Jenson threw two scores and made all four PATs. Matt Ramsay led Kanab's defense, which held Parowan to only two first downs

EAST 41, OREM 17: East jumped out to a huge 27-10 halftime lead on the Tigers and never looked back as it continued its impressive start to the season with their second straight victory.

HIGHLAND, IDAHO 32, SKY VIEW 14: Highland honored their territory and snagged the win. Although Sky View lost, their very own Yabitse Wells busted an impressive 88-yard kick return for a score.

DESERT HILLS 24, MOAPA VALLEY, NEV. 0: Mike Needham had 211 yards - 171 rushing on 13 carries - and scored two touchdowns. Peter Brown displayed a solid defensive effort with 11 tackles in the shutout over Moapa.

PLEASANT GROVE 13, HUNTER 0: Pleasant Grove handed Hunter its second straight shutout in a defensive slug fest. Cooper Caldwell and Skyler Munson added the spark offensively for the Vikings.

WASATCH 36, BEN LOMOND 0: Wasatch quarterback James Delacenserie threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another as the visiting Wasps blanked the Scots, who were looking for their second straight victory.

JUAB 18, GRANTSVILLE 7: Spencer McPhearson tossed a pair of touchdowns to lead the Wasps past the visiting Cowboys, whose lone score came on a 57-yard fumble recovery in the second quarter.

LYMAN, WYO. 39, ALTAMONT 6: Altamont dropped to 0-2 on the season as the offense struggled to get anything going at Lyman, Wyo.

DIXIE 59, RIVER VALLEY, ARIZ. 7: Blake Barney completed 12-of-15 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns, with all three going to receiver Tadd Challis as the Flyers overwhelmed the visitors from Arizona. Challis finished with 227 receiving yards on just five catches.

NEWCOMB, N.M. 16, WHITEHORSE 12: Whitehorse led throughout until allowing 10 points in the fourth quarter.
