Zoe Ann Boyack Jorgensen1914 ~ 2011Zoe Ann Boyack Jorgensen passed away September 12, 2011 after a full and challenging life at the age of 96 years and 10 months. She was born on November 27, 1914 to Robert Matthew and Lillian Christina Boyack in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was the youngest of their seven children, Robert, Harold, Jex, Clara, Donna, and Bert all preceded her in death. She married W.A. (Bill) Jorgensen on March 22, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away on March 4, 1971. She is survived by her children: David B. (Laurel) Jorgensen and Sheila (Daryl) Jacobs, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.She had a long life filled with work which began in her early years cleaning banks to assist her mother. Later she worked in department stores in Spanish Fork and then in Salt Lake City where they moved in 1950 at the Paris Department Store, Keith O'Brien, and J.C. Penny among others. She was constantly on the move visiting and assisting with her grandchildren. She sold Avon to friends and neighbors for over 40 years doing so into her 90's. She had many callings and assignments in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed her compassionate service work with the Relief Society. Many family visits to her home were made even more enjoyable by he ever-present chocolate chip cookies, milk, and bottled peaches.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. preceded by a viewing at 10:00 a.m. in the Canyon Rim Stake Center at 3051 South on 2900 East. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
