Lydia Cintron1928 ~ 2012Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend, Lydia Cintron, passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease at Canyon Creek Assisted Living Center, Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was born November 10, 1928, in Maricao, Puerto Rico to Jose Aymat and Monserrate Colon. Married Domingo Cintron, April 8,1950 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Member of St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Lydia loved entertaining and cooking for family and friends.Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, and solving word search puzzles. Preceded in death by her husband, Domingo. Survived by daughter Ada I. Kaczka (Edward), son Nelson R. Cintron (Carolyn), eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Canyon Creek Assisted Living and Hospice of Utah (Joan, Claudia, and Doug) for all the loving care they gave Lydia during the last ten months of her life.Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 9 a.m. in the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper, UT.
