Marvin LeRoy Noyce"Beloved Father"Our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2012, Thanksgiving morning. Born June 8, 1926 in Salt Lake City, UT to Charles Warren and Ruby Pearl Ryan Noyce. Married Joyce Vivian Randall on June 1, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Dad worked for the United States Postal Service for 41 years. He retired in 1990. He enjoyed watching old movies and sports. Dad loved being with family and friends. He particularly liked the holidays. Marvin served in the Army during World War II. Survived by his children, Marva Lynda (Van) Kingsbury, Robert "Randy" (Beverly), Mark Edward (Susan), and Christopher Noyce; grandchildren, Jennifer, Vanessa, Rachelle, David, Sean, Adam, Shayna, and Amanda; great granddaughter, Lexie, and great grandsons, Chase, Parker and Ryan, and great great grandson, Jake. Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; Siamese twin daughters, Penny Dee and Peggy Lee; parents and seven siblings. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Foxboro 3rd Ward, 875 Foxboro Drive, North Salt Lake, Utah with a viewing one hour prior and also from 6-8:00 pm on Tuesday at the church. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful. Our family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Hospital for their tender care of our Dad. Also, a big thank you to Christopher for taking care of Dad the last five years of his life.
