Miles Donald MayneDec. 11, 1919Nov. 1, 2012Miles Donald Mayne passed away on November 1, 2012 at the age of 92. He was born on December 11, 1919 to George Edward and Lillie Elvina Miles Mayne. On March 27, 1943 Don was married to Beverly Edith Hansen in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho and they were later sealed in the Bountiful Utah Temple on June 25, 2005.A rich man without great wealth, he didn't stand out in a crowd until you noticed both young and old make a point of giving him a warm greeting, as Don always found a way to give of his time, talents, money and himself in sports, plumbing, his country, union, special government programs, and even those he knew little about. Don Mayne was a modern day Good Samaritan offering his home and comforts to those who needed help. Papa Don gave while not wanting to be noticed in helping others get back on their feet, become self sufficient, to become greater athletes and/or building tradesmen, and neighbors who just needed a leak stopped or fixtures working.Don is survived by his Sister Betty Scott, Daughter Teryl Bonella (Gene), Sons Scott Mayne (Gloria) and Brad Mayne (Cheryl). Grandchildren Shauna Cannon, Paul Bonella, Chad Bonella, Ryan Mayne, Randy Mayne, Tori Bates, Kelli Bouck, and Dawn Green and 21 Great Grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his Wife-Bev, Brothers-Floyd, Ken, John, Bill, Shirley, Bud and Sisters-Lil, Bessie, & Phyllis, Grandson Andy Bonella.Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 7th, 11am, River Ridge Stake Center located at 10194 South 1050 West, South Jordan Utah. For Visitation, friends may visit Tuesday November 6th from 6 to 8pm and/or November 7th from 10 to 10:45am at River Ridge Stake Center. Interment will be held following the funeral program at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy Utah.
