Theresa Gutcher Andersen Belnap1927 ~ 2012Theresa Melina Gutcher Andersen Belnap passed away November 6, 2012 in the Ogden McKay Dee Hospital. Theresa (Teri) was born in Timmins, Ontario, Canada to Mathias Peter Gutcher and Isabella Boddington on 27 June 1927. Teri grew up and was educated in Timmins. She married Gordon Oscar Andersen on 17 August 1946 and together they had three children; Brenda Gail, Brian Gordon, and Taryl Lynn. They later divorced.On 19 September 1975, Teri married Ronald Foster Belnap in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were together 37 years prior to this heartbreak. Teri was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings, but her love was spent researching her ancestors to assure the binding of her family together in the eternities.Teri is survived by her husband Ronald, her daughter Brenda of San Francisco, her son Brian of Victoria, Canada, a grandson David of Victoria, a daughter Taryl of San Diego and a sister Helen Feltmate of B.C., Canada. A stepdaughter, three stepsons, fifteen step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E. 1300 S.) in Salt Lake City. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM inside the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary prior to services. Condolences can be made to the family at www.larkinmortuary.com.
