Kent Haderlie Sibbett1939 ~ 2012Kent Haderlie Sibbett, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor and friend, passed away on December 13, 2012 from complications following surgery. Kent was born on October 6, 1939 in Afton, Wyoming to Frank Sibbett and Blanche Haderlie Sibbett. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA and MA. He served an LDS Mission in Austria. Kent was employed by AT&T in California and Utah. He married Nan Christensen in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 14, 1964. Kent is survived by his wife Nan, children; Melissa Elkins, Christopher Sibbett, Adrianne LaBelle, Benjamin Sibbett. Ten grandchildren and siblings; Joyce Madsen, Jay Sibbett and Cheryl Humphrey.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Wasatch 7th Ward Chapel. The Chapel is located at 8100 Top of the World Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. A private family viewing will precede the service.
