Using data from the Census Bureau’s 2010 American Community Survey, he found that the majors that give provide the best opportunity for reaching the 1 percent are pre-med, economics, biochemistry, zoology and biology.

Fully almost 12 percent of the one percent take pre-med. Another 8 percent study economics. Between 6 and 7 percent study biochemistry, zoology and biology.
