SALT LAKE CITY — Nearly 40 million online new records and images have been added to FamilySearch.org in the past few weeks, according to news releases.

These collections are from more than two dozen countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Caribbean, Chile, Columbia, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Sweden, Wales and several U.S. states.

The largest collection is more than 25 million images to the "United States, World War One Draft Registration Cards." Other collections include nearly 1.5 million records for "England, Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," more than 1 million for "France, Births and Baptisms, 1546-1896," 1.6 million records for "Hungary Reformed Church Christenings, 1624-1895" and more than 1 million records from "Italy, Messina, Civil Registration (State Archive), 1820-1865."

Also, more than a dozen new projects were added last month, including the first collections from Paraguay, Panama and Bolivia.
