Jerry Blaine JohnsonMay 21, 1942 - April 30, 2012Jerry, age 69, passed away April 30, 2012 in Murray, UT. Born May 21, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT. His parent were Robert A. and Margaret Tessman Johnson. He married Carol Workman Johnson on December 8, 1962 in Park City, UT. Jerry died peacefully with his family by his side. He was a loving Husband, Dad, and "Pop". He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially in the outdoors. He liked traveling around the world and looked forward to the Moab Jeep Safari annually. He was dedicated to his businesses of J.J.Design and Red Wing Shoe Stores. He appreciated and respected the employees. He is survived by wife Carol, daughter Michele (Bobby) Elder, son Robert Johnson, two special grandchildren Nash and Nya Elder, sisters Karen (Mark) Andersen, Colleen Johnson Beck, in-laws Carolyn Workman, Barbara Provost, Steve (Beverly) Workman, Linda Angeli. Preceded in death by his Mother and Father, 1 brother, Mother and Father In-law, 3 Brother in- laws, and 1 sister-in-law. Our family would like to thank the care he received from IMC 8th floor staff, Liver Transplant Center, Dr. Holly Clark, and Dr. Dan Yarrish. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00am at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at the mortuary and also on Friday from 10:00-10:45am prior to the service. Interment at Park City Cemetery.
