Roderick Denzel Hunt1980 ~ 2012Roderick Denzel Hunt, born November 17, 1980 in Provo, Utah, died prematurely on Sunday, April 30, 2012.Denzel lived in Montezuma Creek, Santa Clara, and Riverton, Utah. His parents are Roderick Joseph Hunt and Patrice Barton Hunt. He married Anna Patrice Rafferty on September 18, 2010. Denzel joined the 2/222nd FA (Triple Deuce) February 26, 2000. He loved his military family and was dedicated to serving his country. He was deployed twice to Iraq and always served his country with honor. Denzel had a great zest for life. He deeply loved his family and friends and was always concerned for their welfare. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.He is survived by his wife Anna, and step-daughter Bridger; parents, Rod and Patrice; siblings: Jaimi (Mike) Smith; Brandon (Tannya) Hunt; Kristy Jo Hunt; Amelia (Hans) Kirchhausen; Natalee Hunt; Dallin Hunt. Nieces and nephews include: Ben, Nikki, Kristen, Sarah, and Baby J. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Santa Clara Stake Center (1706 Desert Dawn, Santa Clara) on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior.
