Richard (Shorty) Trimble1919 ~ 2012Richard (Shorty) Trimble, 92 passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in Heber City, Utah. He was born September 21, 1919, in New Market, Missouri, to Edward and Mattie Trimble. He came to Heber in 1935 with the CC Camps. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He loved fishing, hunting, traveling in their motor home, and making clocks. He married Rhea Ardean Anderson on January 2, 1941, in Coalville, Utah.Richard is survived by his wife, Rhea of 71 years; sons, LeRoy (Joyce) Trimble, Ogden, UT; Ronald (Barbara) Trimble, Heber City, UT; Edward (Shirley) Trimble, Provo, UT; and daughter, Annette (Pat) VanWagner, Provo, UT. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.Thanks to Heber Valley Hospital, Hospice, friends, neighbors and funeral directors.Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 11:30-12:45 p.m. at the Heber City 9th Ward Chapel, 325 East 500 North, Heber City, Utah.
