CEDAR CITY — A state road is open after having been closed since a landslide damaged it on October 2011.
State Route 14 between Cedar City and the junction of state Route 148 is now open both day and night, seven days a week. Construction on the landslide is still ongoing, and there are areas of roadwork under way, so travelers should expect minor delays.
Cedar Breaks National Monument remains open throughout the entire construction project. Access to Cedar Breaks from Panguitch and Highway 89 to the east remains open and unaffected.
