BROOMALL, Pa. (MCT) — Players and executives, wives and friends — even strangers — came from across the country and around the National Football League to remember Garrett Reid, son of Eagles coach Andy Reid, on Tuesday.

A crowd estimated at 900 people gathered in Broomall for an emotional, uplifting, tear-filled, 90-minute funeral at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They were drawn together to console and support Andy Reid and his family as they mourned the passing of his 29-year-old son.
