Annamaria Wright Salisbury"Will be missed"Annamaria Wright Salisbury passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2012. She was born September 12, 1929 in Rome, Italy. Annamaria married Brigadier General Norman J. Salisbury. They were together for 38 years. Annamaria had previously been married to Lawrence S. Wright, who had also been a brigadier general in the U. S. Army. Annamaria traveled all over the world during her lifetime, but her most loved place was Italy. She was a phenomenal cook and in 1980 opened a pasta and bakery shop in Logan, La Spiga, where she worked tirelessly. She was a remarkable and unique woman. After moving to Salt Lake City she worked for Gastronomy, Inc. for ten years, where she made many dear, supportive, and lasting friends. After Annamaria retired she spent much of her time traveling with her husband, visiting family and friends, as well as exploring areas she had not yet discovered. She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Salisbury; four children, Linda D. (Dario) Pignedoli, Gary L. Wright, Alexandro M. (Toni) Wright, and Gina L. (Kevin) Hill; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Liliana Stracener; stepchildren, Norman Palmer (C.J.) Salisbury, Jan S. (Gilberto) Urroz, and Lisa S. (Buddy) Shaw; five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South.
