Frank L. Haynes1937-2013Frank Louis Haynes passed away peacefully at home with his wife Sheryl by his side on February 13, 2013. He was born in Sacramento, California, seventh child of twelve to Robert Orchard Haynes and Mary Martha Sommers Haynes on October 3, 1937. Frank served honorably in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He valued education and completed his Masters Degree in Social Science from California State University, Sacramento. He taught special and general education in Woodland, California; as well as owning multiple businesses and restaurants. Frank served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; his favorites being a missionary with his wife in a CES mission in Garden City, Kansas and also a temple ordinance worker at Jordan River and Oquirrh Mountain temples. Frank and Sheryl Haynes were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple; recently celebrating their 52nd anniversary. Their legacy included; children David (Kyle), Jill and Michael (Kristine) as well as grandchildren Morgan, Phillip, Nicolas, Emily, Alec, Julia and Lindsey. He was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven by his son David, as well as his parents, many brothers and sisters, and a large extended family. A viewing will be held Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 9:30 am with services following at 11:00 am. They will be held at the Jordan Oaks 3rd Ward of 8117 S. Leslie Dr. 3905 W. West Jordan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mountain View 6th ward, c/o Nicolas Haynes missionary fund; 2221 W. Williamsburg Cir. West Jordan, Utah 84088.
