Donna M. Truscott8/10/1921 1/25/2013Ramona, CADonna Muhlestein Truscott, age 91, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 25, 2013. Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home with her son by her side, in Ramona, California. Donna was born August 10, 1921, in Price, Utah, the daughter of Ephraim Ammon and Lillie Alvey Muhlestein. Married Glen LaVon Truscott, June 21, 1947, and later solemnized in The Latter-Day Saints Temple in Manti Utah. They lived in Helper, Utah and later moved to Price. After graduating from Carbon High School, Donna attended LDS Business College and developed her clerical and bookkeeping skills. She worked at the Carbon Emery Bank and then worked for the Coca Cola Company in Price for a short time, before finishing her working career as a Secretary with US Steel Company in East Carbon. After retiring she lived summers in Price and winters in California, until the last few years in Ramona, CA with her son. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church, and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her son Kent L. Truscott, Ramona, CA; grandchildren: Michael (Tomoko) Degelbeck, Tokyo, Japan; and Jenna Truscott, Ramona, CA; four great-grandchildren: Lauren, Aimee, Owen, and Luke Degelbeck; sister: Lillie Peterson; brothers Arnold Muhlestein and Ray (Joyce) Muhlestein; in laws Lillie Muhlestein and Dan Higbee; She is preceded in death by her parents: her husband Glen Truscott; brothers: Grant Muhlestein and Lester Muhlestein; sisters: Naomi Anderson, Jean Thorp, and Joy Higbee; brother-in-laws Walt Anderson and Garth Peterson; sister-in-law Dorothy Muhlestein. Graveside services will be Monday, February 4, at 1:00 P.M. at Ephraim City Cemetery, 600 N Main St, Ephraim, Ut. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
