Connie Marie Gadd Mikkelson CallDec. 19, 1932 - Feb. 1, 2013Our angel mother, Connie Marie Gadd Mikkelson Call returned home to our Heavenly Father the morning of Friday, February 1, 2013. She was born December 19, 1932 in Nephi, Utah, the daughter of Ray and Nida Simpson Gadd.Connie married her high school sweetheart, Rey Mikkelson on June 23, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. Rey passed away June 19, 1982. She married C. Boyd Call July 27, 1990 in Orem, UT. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her hands were always busy crocheting, sewing or gardening. She loved people and children, especially her grandchildren.She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many position in the church. She was a devoted visiting teacher and served an honorable service mission with her husband. She is survived by a devoted husband Boyd Call of Orem and four children; Gloria Johnson of Orem UT, Tammy Card (Russell) of Highland, UT, Shawn (Rischelle) of Highland, UT, Shellie Hansen (Jon) of Mountlake Terrace, WA, and five step children-Nancy (Max) Warner of Orem, UT, Chris (Cheryl) Call, of Provo, UT, Mitch Call, Portland OR, Peggy (Conrad) Aitken, Cedar City, UT and Phillip (Shauna) Call of CA. She will be greatly missed by her brothers Wendell (Carol) Gadd of Mapleton and Richard( Darcus) Gadd of Orem. She had 28 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Grandma", "Grandma C.", "Grandma Becky" and "Grandma Great". What a great example she was to them!A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem UT. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. 575 S. 800 E. Orem, UT. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
