WEST JORDAN — Clippers came out for a cause at a school in West Jordan on Monday.

Connor Boyd a second-grader at Falcon Ridge Elementary, is battling leukemia. In an effort to support Connor, all of his classmates decided to participate in a fundraiser for childhood cancer research called "Coins for Connor." Principal Paul Bergera promised students if they met their goal of $2,500, he would allow them to shave his head. Connor's former teacher Kaisa Mortenson also agreed to have her head shaved.

The students collected more than $4,000. Bergera and Mortenson both had their heads shaved to fulfill their promise and show solidarity with Connor.
