With Southern Utah's season opener at Southern Alabama just three days away, the Thunderbirds' depth chart is taking shape.
On offense, the T'Birds have a veteran offensive line — led by senior center Gavin Farr — that will protect new starter, junior Aaron Cantu. Southern Utah's wide receiver group is full of upperclassmen, including seniors Fatu Moala and Griff McNabb.
The Thunderbirds have plenty of youth on the defensive side of the ball. Among them is sophomore defensive end James Cowser, as well as sophomore middle linebacker Zak Browning. SUU's secondary returns all four starters, including sophomore leader Miles Killebrew.
