Linda Elizabeth Burrows Davis1945 - 2014Our Beloved Wife, Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, and friend quietly passed away Sunday morning January 12th, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was in the presence of her family at the home of her sister Florence Webster, located in Sandy, Utah.Linda was Born May 25,1945 in Kearns, Utah. Raised by Ralph and Ida Burrows and her Mother Cora. Married to her loving husband Ronald Davis nearly 40 years. Graduated from East High SLC, UT. Linda loved printing. Worked for Costco, Oregon Liquor Control Comm, Whitmore Library.Linda had a love for animals all her life. She excelled at anything she did. She was very fond of quilting, home making and spending time with those she loved.She is survived by her husband Ron, Sisters Florence (Marlen) Webster, Julia (Ray) Rodgers, Brothers Ray (Faye) Burrows, Ronnie (Fawn-Nell) Burrows, Son Joseph Riggs, Daughters Elizabeth (Joe) Holmes, Becky (Steve) Purcell and, seven grandchildren.Preceded in death by beloved Parents Cora Burrows and Ralph and Ida Burrows, sons Kenneth Riggs, Ken Davis, Daughter Kathleen and Brother Arthur (Rhea) Kiisel.Viewing and memorial service to be held at: Jenkins-Soffe 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT. Viewing Friday January 17, 2014 6pm to 8pm. Viewing the following day 10am. Memorial service 11am. Interment Sandy City Cemetery.
