The Phoenix Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now open for public tours. The open house began Friday, Oct. 10, and will go through Saturday, Nov. 1.

The tours are free, and reservations can be made online.

Photographs of the interior and exterior were published on the Mormon Newsroom website Wednesday. The temple is one level and sits on five acres.

This is the fifth LDS temple in Arizona; others are in Mesa, Snowflake, Gila Valley and Gilbert. Plans to build a temple in Tucson have also been announced.

The Phoenix Arizona Temple will be dedicated on Sunday, Nov. 16. More information about the temple can be found on the Mormon Newsroom.
