The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a music video Wednesday that features LDS artist David Archuleta and is associated with its feature-length documentary “Meet the Mormons.”

The music video features the song “Glorious” from the film and was released just days after the song became available to download on the “Meet the Mormons” Facebook page.

“Glorious” was originally performed by Russ Dixon and written by Stephanie Mabey. It was included on the 2012 “Arise and Shine Forth” Especially for Youth album.

As of Thursday morning, Archuleta’s music video had more than 80,000 views and Archuleta was trending on Facebook. This is the first official song from Archuleta since he returned from his LDS mission earlier this year.

The video already has several hundred comments on YouTube, with many viewers expressing their gratitude for the message of the song.

“I am not a Mormon. … It doesn't matter. This is beautiful. I had tears swelling around my eyes. … The warmth of love and humanity was felt in this music video. Great job David, great job to the creators,” one commenter wrote.
