Local artist Lexi Walker, 12, released a cover Monday of David Archuleta's "Glorious" as a part of the "Meet the Mormons" video contest.
Archuleta released an instrumental version of "Glorious," written by Stephanie Mabey, on Oct. 24, and invited other artists to participate in the contest by recording their own versions of the song and posting the videos to YouTube.
The contest will go until Friday, Nov. 7, and winners will be announced Friday, Nov. 14.
Walker has become well known for her performance in Alex Boye's viral cover of "Let It Go." She has since appeared on "Good Morning America" and "America's Got Talent."
