"Sesame Street" fans know there is nothing Count von Count loves more than counting, so who better to count down the days until the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert than children’s favorite vampire?
Beginning on Dec. 7, the famous Count von Count began counting down the days until the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be joined by the Sesame Street Muppets for its 2014 Christmas concert. The Count joined various people associated with the choir, including Associate Director Ryan Murphy and the choir's president, Ronald Jarrett, for a humorous video to excite fans before the big show.
Last Friday, it was announced that in addition to Count von Count, Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, Bert and Ernie, the choir will also be joined by Big Bird and Cookie Monster. Santino Fontana, who is best known as the voice of Hans in Disney’s “Frozen,” will also perform in the concert.
The concerts will run from Dec. 11 to 14. The ticket-request period for the concert has closed, but patrons are invited to stand by for last-minute seating before each of the performances. Additional information about the standby lines can be found on lds.org.
