On Dec. 6, hundreds of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in a flash mob at the Complexe Desjardins, a Montreal mall, singing Christmas carols in French to passers-by.
The songs featured Marianne Lambert as the lead soloist. Lambert was the winner of the Concours International de Chant de Marmande (Marmande International Singing Festival).
The event organizer, Marie-Frédérique Carter, said the group planned the event as a way to give back during the Christmas season.
“We wanted to send a special Christmas message of goodwill to the people of our beautiful city!” Carter told Mormon Newsroom.
