Guy Trent Smith1917 ~ 2014Guy Trent Smith, age 42 passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, February 4, 2014, in Edmond Oklahoma. He was born April 10, 1971 in Provo, Utah to Gary and Arlene Smith. He grew up in Orem and graduated from Orem High School in 1989. He excelled in sports: basketball, soccer and cross country. He also excelled in vocally in Acapella and Chamber Choir. He was instrumental in starting a male quartet in high school- with Eric Gibbons, Steve Eastmond and Stephen Gibbons. He was called and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. He married Angie Jolley in July 1995 in the Salt Lake Temple. Trent was a good Husband, Father, Son and Brother. He made his living as a Podiatrist in Oklahoma. He served in many Church callings and loved the Gospel and his Savior. His loss will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife and children: Austin, Madyson, Preston and Brayden, his in-laws, parents, and siblings-Todd (KJ), Tracy (Amy), Jami, Jodi (Mark) Ford, Trevor (Angela) Smith, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on February 7, 2014 in Oklahoma.
