PAYSON — The public is invited to an open house and tour at Payson's new Women, Infants and Children location from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

Located in the same plaza but just two doors down from the previous WIC clinic, the office is at 910 E. 100 North, Suite 125.

The facility has an open lobby with toys and books for children, said Doreen Radford, WIC director, adding that the clinic has expanded to five exam rooms and a breastfeeding room.

"This helps us to have a more flexible schedule to meet our client needs," Radford said.

WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for low-income women, infants and children under 5 years. It provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, community referrals and nutritious food vouchers.
