Dogs were having their day Saturday, at the opening of a new canine recreation center.
The pups played in the pool and pranced around on freshly planted grass, all part of the holistic approach for dog-sitting taken by Barley's Canine Recreation Center, located at 2827 S. 2300 East.
The facility was fashioned to provide a place where dogs of any age and size could get exercise in a safe, clean environment. In addition to an indoor swimming pool, the canine day care also offers acupuncture, massage, agility training, hiking, retail and more. The organization claims to be dedicated to the wellness, health and fitness of all dogs.
