SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Financial Institutions has launched a redesigned website — dfi.utah.gov — to help put financial information in the hands of institutions and consumers.
The department primarily charters and regulates businesses providing financial services to the residents of Utah. The new website is full of useful financial information.
“The site helps us fulfill our mission to provide quality banking information for the residents of Utah,” department Commissioner Ed Leary said in a press release. “Utahns may find useful help on everything from home and auto loans to credit reports and fraud.”
In addition to consumer information, the site is the official state resource for financial institutions. Financial services professionals will find up-to-date information on applications, regulations, legislation, contacts, news and policies.
