In honor of the upcoming release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which hits theaters Dec. 18, award-winning composer and pianist Sonya Belousova has released a medley themes from the popular film franchise.
The video showcases composer John Williams' film scores and includes Belousova dressed as Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader and Princess Leia. Even the piano is dressed for the occasion, appearing as R2-D2 and the Millennium Falcon.
Player Piano, a channel created by Belousova and director Tom Grey, posted the medley Friday.
Other Star Wars-themed videos are popping up as the new film's release approaches.
This week, ESPN announced a featurette documenting the evolution of the lightsaber, and Brigham Young University's Noteworthy, a nine-woman a cappella ensemble, posted an a cappella medley of Star Wars themes Friday.
