SALT LAKE CITY — Police have arrested a man who they say was exposing himself to women at the University of Utah.

Adam Hill, 31, was arrested Monday by U. police and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of eight counts of lewdness and eight counts of disorderly conduct.

Hill exposed himself to eight female U. students during four incidents on campus on Dec. 17 "while attempting to engage in a conversation with the victims," according to a Salt Lake County Jail report.

During the incidents, Hill wore a pair of sweat pants that "had a 3-inch hole in the front pelvic area that was possibly used to assist in the exposure," the report states.

Two weeks ago, police at Brigham Young University reported that a man had been exposing himself to female students in the area of 800 North and 200 East, and 600 North and 600 East.

A week before that, Provo police warned students and residents, particularly female joggers, of a man who groped two women and exposed himself to a third.

The descriptions of the alleged flashers in the BYU incidents were different. There was no immediate word Wednesday whether the incident at the U. could be connected to either BYU case.
