Hundreds of families pick up holiday meals during giveaway

Volunteers distributed 800 meals, hygiene and wound-care kits, and winter clothing to those in need. Each meal consisted of a turkey, ham or chicken, plus trimmings: cranberry sauce, yams, potatoes, dressing mix, green beans and fresh fruit.
