Meg Johnson was walking along a red-rock path in St. George on March 6, 2004, when she hopped over what she thought was a small boulder and fell about 35 feet off a cliff.

Johnson collaborated with nCourage.tv, whose mission is to “spread encouragement,” and the Feed Your Happy app to create a short film, “Falling Up,” about how her life has changed since that day in 2004.

In the film, which was written, directed and produced by Scott Wilhite, Johnson plays herself and shares how she faced her trials with optimism.

She has since married and is now the mother of a little girl named Zula Mae. The wheelchair she uses inspired her life’s motto: “When life gets too hard to stand, just keep on rollin’!”
