Trader Joe's celebrated the opening of its Cottonwood Heights store, the second in Utah, on Friday morning. Store manager "Captain" Daryl Fielding, Regional Vice President Dan Dasse, Cottonwood Heights Mayor Kelvyn Cullimore Jr., and the Trader Joe’s crew gathered for a ceremonial lei-cutting to welcome new customers. The Cottonwood Heights store is located at 6989 S. 1300 East and is about 10,000 square feet.

Trader Joe’s began in 1958 in the Los Angeles area. It has expanded to more than 430 stores in 39 states.
