SALT LAKE CITY — Utah freshman guard Jada Matthews spent Super Bowl Sunday in her dorm room watching the game and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks — and her brother.

That's Seahawks receiver Chris Matthews, who scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl and recovered the onside kick in the NFC Championship against Green Bay.

Conveniently, the Utes' road trip to Seattle to play at Washington Jan. 25 was the weekend between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.

"That was great for the family," said Utah head coach Anthony Levrets. "Obviously, that's a talented family. And it's a great family. (Watching her brother) was great for her to experience."
