From rookies to veterans, 23 players with Utah ties have new numbers in the NFL. Three others will be keeping the number they wore before. Here's a breakdown of what numbers these local ties will be wearing.
All four of Utah's players selected in this year's NFL draft now have their numbers:
— Defensive back Eric Rowe, a second-round pick by Philadelphia, will wear No. 32 for the Eagles. He wore No. 18 at Utah.

— Outside linebacker Nate Orchard, selected by Cleveland in the second round, will wear No. 48 for the Browns. He wore No. 8 for the Utes.
— Wide receiver Kaelin Clay, a sixth-round pick by Tampa Bay, will wear No. 14 for the Buccaneers. He also wore No. 8 at Utah.
— Offensive lineman Jeremiah Poutasi, Tennessee's third-round selection, will wear No. 72 for the Titans. He wore No. 73 with the Utes.
Fourteen rookies with Utah ties who signed undrafted free-agent rookie deals have already been assigned numbers, according to the rosters on their new team's respective websites:
— Linebacker Alani Fua will wear No. 48 for the Arizona Cardinals. He wore No. 5 at BYU. While he played outside linebacker for the Cougars, he's listed at inside linebacker with Arizona.
— Fullback Paul Lasike also signed with Arizona, and he will wear No. 34 with the Cardinals. He wore No. 33 at BYU.
— Wide receiver Jordan Leslie won't change numbers. He will wear No. 9 with the Minnesota Vikings, the same number he wore at BYU and UTEP.
— Wide receiver Dres Anderson also will not change numbers. He wore No. 6 at Utah and will do the same with the San Francisco 49ers.
— Quarterback Jake Heaps will wear No. 3 for the New York Jets after signing with the team following a tryout at the team's rookie mini-camp. He wore No. 9 at BYU from 2010-11.
— Linebacker Brian Blechen will wear No. 50 with the Carolina Panthers. He wore No. 4 at Utah.
— Cornerback Robertson Daniel will wear No. 32 with the Oakland Raiders. He wore No. 4 at BYU.
— Linebacker Jacoby Hale, who also signed with Oakland, will wear No. 56 for the Raiders. He wore No. 40 at Utah.
— Defensive end B.J. Larsen will wear No. 69 with the Buffalo Bills. He wore No. 99 at Utah State.
— Tight end Devin Mahina will wear No. 89 with the Washington Redskins. He wore No. 84 at BYU.
— Safety Brian Suite will wear No. 45 with the Detroit Lions. He wore No. 21 at Utah State.
— Linebacker Zach Vigil will wear No. 49 with the Miami Dolphins. He wore No. 53 at Utah State.
— Offensive lineman De'Ondre Wesley will wear No. 77 with theBaltimore Ravens. He wore No. 57 at BYU.
— Offensive lineman Kevin Whimpey will wear No. 71 with the Pittsburgh Steelers (Utah State), No. 71 with Steelers. He wore No. 74 at Utah State.
Several NFL veterans with Utah ties also will have new numbers.
— Linebacker Kyle Van Noy (BYU), who wore No. 95 in his first season with Detroit last year, will now wear No. 53 for the Lions, the team announced.
— Defensive back Nevin Lawson (Utah State) wore No. 43 his rookie season with Detroit but is switching to No. 24.
— Running back Robert Turbin (Utah State) is headed into his fourth year with Seattle, but he will now be sporting No. 32, according to the team. He had worn No. 22 previously with the Seahawks.
— Cornerback Brice McCain (Utah) will wear No. 24 with his new team in Miami. He wore No. 25 last year with the Steelers before signing a free-agent deal with the Dolphins.
— Defensive tackle Stephen Paea (Timpview High) will wear No. 90 with Washington after signing with the Redskins in free agency. He wore No. 92 in four years with Chicago.
— Linebacker Spencer Hadley (BYU) wore No. 50 as a rookie last year for Oakland. He will wear No. 48 with the Raiders this year, according to the team website.
Also of note:
— Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (Highland High) changed teams, but his number won't be changing. He will wear No. 92 for Detroit, the same number he wore in nine seasons with Baltimore. The Lions traded for Ngata in March.
— Tight end Joe Don Duncan is heading into his first NFL season after going undrafted last year. He will wear No. 42 for Denver after wearing No. 9 at Dixie State.
