Anyone who has seen The Piano Guys perform atop sandstone cliffs, on the Great Wall of China, inside the Midway Ice Castles and at many other unusual locations has probably wondered how grand pianos make their way to such settings. In a new video, the cast of BYUtv's sketch comedy series "Studio C" goes behind the scenes, pretending to be the musicians' production team and humorously describing the challenges the often remote and exotic destinations could present.
"I once tried to convince John to use a small keyboard instead of the 1,000-pound grand piano he wanted us to hike into darkest Africa," crew member Zoe Washburn, played by Mallory Everton, says in the video. "He thought that was a really funny joke."
In the sketch, The Piano Guys discuss ideas for future filming locations with the "Studio C" cast. The destination The Piano Guys settle on? Mount Everest in December.
At the time this article was published, the video had nearly 300,000 views.
