People celebrate Memorial Day in many ways. Some head off on vacation, set up barbeques or attend events to celebrate the lives of veterans and fallen soldiers.
But videomaker Stephen Clouse had his own unique way to pay tribute: He made a shareable online video.
In Clouse's video, Hollywood actor Tony Lo Bianco, who starred in 1977’s “Jesus of Nazareth” TV show, reads the poem “Just a Common Soldier” to pay tribute to living and fallen soldiers for Memorial Day, according to The Daily Signal. As Bianco reads the poem, both photos and videos of soldiers and their families are shown.
“It's so easy to forget them, for it was so long ago, that the old Bills of our country went to battle,” reads the poem, “but we know it was not the politicians, with their compromise and ploys, who won for us the freedom that our country now enjoys.”
