In honor of Father's Day on Sunday, Echo Storytelling Agency asked 10 children of various ages to have face-to-face conversations with their dads.
In the video, the children first ask their fathers to explain why they are proud of them. Then the children share why they are grateful for their dads.
Toward the end of the video, the camera pans out to reveal that one of the children is speaking about a father who has died, driving home to the importance of vocalizing love and appreciation while there is still time.
A note below the video explains its purpose: "We hope it will inspire you to pick up the phone and call your dad. Tell him why you’re grateful; tell him why you’re proud. He might just do the same. So much in life goes unsaid. Vulnerability and gratitude can crack us open in the best of ways."
