GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA — A new floating convenience store and snack bar has arrived at the Halls Crossing Marina.
Barges towed the store nearly 100 miles up Lake Powell over four days to its new home.
Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas, which provides concessions for Glen Canyon, managed the construction of the 6,000-square-foot facility. In addition to the new convenience store and snack bar, Halls Crossing offers fueling facilities, launch ramps, a free boat pump-out station, and overnight accommodations.
