When it comes to the economy, Americans seem to have a plethora of concerns weighing them down. Everything from wage stagnation to the pending automation revolution has become part of discussions among America’s working class.

But according to a new poll by YouGov, not all problems have equal weight in the American consciousness.

Despite the fact that overwork has become a growing issue among advocates and economists in recent weeks, YouGov has found that the majority of Americans consider an overabundance of part-time workers to be a bigger problem.

As the YouGov chart also shows, the results don’t change much by party identification. While Republicans are more likely to consider “too many part-time workers” to be the bigger problem, Democrats still responded in similarly high numbers.

In fact, YouGov also found that a plurality of Americans believe the amount of time Americans work is “about right.”
