World-famous disc jockey and record producer Kaskade talked about choosing to live an uncommon lifestyle in the world of electronic dance music during a recent interview with The Daily Beast.
Kaskade, whose real name is Ryan Raddon, recognizes that as a 44-year-old father of three, he doesn't fit the DJ stereotype.
“I have ‘nightclub guy’ and ‘dad’ mode," Raddon told The Daily Beast's Marlow Stern. "I've been juggling these things, and I make it work. It’s just a matter of priorities, I guess!”
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the DJ chooses not to partake in many of the activities that surround him.
“I don’t party at all!” he told The Daily Beast. “I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I’m a bit of a freak that way because I’m completely different from what you would think.”
Raddon attended Brigham Young University before serving a mission for the LDS Church in Japan.
