In July 2014, singer David Archuleta performed "Bring Him Home" from "Les Miserables" for American soldiers stationed in the Middle East.
In honor of Independence Day, we are reposting a video of his performance.
Archuleta toured and performed for troops throughout Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Ethiopia and Djibouti with motivational speaker Dan Clark and comedian Jason Hewlett.
"I just want to thank again these men and women in the military for serving and doing what they do," Archuleta wrote on his website in 2014. "I am so grateful that they took us in and allowed us to experience a little bit of their experiences."
At the time of publication of this article, the video had nearly 50,000 views.
