World-famous violinist Lindsey Stirling graduated from Brigham Young University on Friday.
Stirling, 28, is from Gilbert, Arizona, and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York.
After an apperance on "America's Got Talent" in 2010, Stirling was motivated to create unique YouTube videos, which skyrocketed her to international success. She now has a YouTube channel with 6,884,770 subscribers, 1,096,566,493 views and is currently touring North America on her Music Box Tour.
On Friday, she shared with fans on Facebook and Twitter that she would be using Periscope to announce a major event.

Todd Hollingshead with BYU University Communications confirmed Friday that Stirling was receiving a Bachelor of Science in recreational management.

According to the BYU Marriott School Twitter account, Stirling will also be performing at convocation.
