When asked, "If you could do anything together, what would you do?" one father and daughter found a creative way to bond while making an impression on millions.
The father and daughter are part of a new Quaker Oats Company commercial, which has almost 3 million views on YouTube. The two are not paid actors, according to the advertisement and confirmed by Today.com.
In the video, the 10-year-old daughter, Lauren, expresses her love for dancing, and the father, Michael, explains his desire to maintain his relationship with his daughter as she gets older. Last names were not provided. Combining their passions, the father and daughter decide to dance together at Lauren's upcoming recital, surprising family and friends.
"As a parent, you find yourself doing crazy things for your kids, but we wouldn't have it any other way," Micheal says in the video. "They won't be kids forever, which makes today that much more important."
The Quaker Canada YouTube channel posted the video on Aug. 14.
