Plane crash survivor and Utah blogger Stephanie Nielson was recently featured on Today.com, sharing photos of her family's new house and her thoughts on what "home" means.

Nielson started blogging on the NieNie Dialogues in 2005, sharing details about life as a mother and her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A tragic plane crash in 2008 left Nielson with burns over 80 percent of her body. After undergoing numerous surgeries and rebuilding her life, she became a New York Times best-selling author and gave birth to the couple's fifth child.

The family provided a look inside their Utah County home Wednesday on Today.com. Nielson shared her thoughts on designing the home to be a space of celebration and joy.

"Home is where we are safe, happy and accepted," Nielson shared with Today.com. "I want everyone who comes here to feel that way, especially our children. We pray, worship, teach and love in our home daily, and I think that is what makes it such a happy place to be."
