At present ,many thousands of illegal immigrants are coming to the United States. It is of interest to note that most U.S. citizens are descendants of the barbarians who overran the ancient Roman Empire. Today's Latino illegal immigrants are descendants of the ancient Romans.
A vast majority of illegal immigrants are coming to the U.S. as a land of opportunity, and are only breaking statutory law, not criminal law. I agree with the Utah Compact that families need to be kept together and compassion shown to those in need. U.S. immigration law needs to be revised to help those looking to America as a land of opportunity, especially if they are contributing to the well-being of our society.
