Provo — BYU senior wide receiver Colby Pearson finished the 28-21 double-overtime victory over Mississippi State with four catches for 36 yards, but his biggest catch came when the game was over and the fans had rushed the field.
Pearson proposed to his girlfriend Malery Wahlin on the field, well, on the training table, after the big win.
Pearson in his senior season, and he has 701 career receiving yards and six touchdowns.
